fio and Flamory

Flamory provides the following integration abilities:

  • Create and use window snapshots for fio
  • Take and edit fio screenshots
  • Automatically copy selected text from fio and save it to Flamory history

Screenshot editing

Flamory helps you capture and store screenshots from fio by pressing a single hotkey. It will be saved to a history, so you can continue doing your tasks without interruptions. Later, you can edit the screenshot: crop, resize, add labels and highlights. After that, you can paste the screenshot into any other document or e-mail message.

Application info

fio is an I/O tool meant for both for benchmark and stress/hardware verification. It has support for many different types of I/O engines, I/O priorities (on newer Linux kernels), rate limited I/O, forked or threaded jobs and much more.

fio can work on either of block devices or files and accepts job descriptions in a simple-to-understand text format. All sorts of I/O performance information (including IO latencies and percentiles) can be displayed.

Integration level may vary depending on the application version and other factors. Make sure that user are using recent version of fio. Please contact us if you have different integration experience.
