LocaToWeb runs on your phone and posts positions in real time to the affiliated web site when active. Friends and family can then follow your position, speed and heading on a map at locatoweb.com. Your tracks are also viewable on a map directly inside the app. Note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
