Application info

MakeMKV is a two-click method to rip your DVDs and Blu-ray discs, and store them in an open-source MKV file. MakeMKV decrypts proprietary discs and converts them into MKV files, preserving most information but not changing it in any way. The MKV format can store multiple video/audio tracks with all meta-information and preserve chapters.

Additionally, MakeMKV can instantly stream video it has decrypted, without the need to convert the file into a different format.

All features (including Blu-ray decryption and processing) are free during BETA. MakeMKV's ability to decrypt DVD discs will always stay free. A new (free) beta key must be entered into the program every few months for it to remain activated.

Integration level may vary depending on the application version and other factors. Make sure that user are using recent version of MakeMKV. Please contact us if you have different integration experience.
