socat and Flamory

Flamory provides the following integration abilities:

Flamory helps you capture and store screenshots from socat by pressing a single hotkey. It will be saved to a history, so you can continue doing your tasks without interruptions. Later, you can edit the screenshot: crop, resize, add labels and highlights. After that, you can paste the screenshot into any other document or e-mail message.

Application info

socat is a relay for bidirectional data transfer between two independent data channels. Each of these data channels may be a file, pipe, device (serial line etc. or a pseudo terminal), a socket (UNIX, IP4, IP6 - raw, UDP, TCP), an SSL socket, proxy CONNECT connection, a file descriptor (stdin etc.), the GNU line editor (readline), a program, or a combination of two of these.

These modes include generation of "listening" sockets, named pipes, and pseudo terminals.

Integration level may vary depending on the application version and other factors. Make sure that user are using recent version of socat. Please contact us if you have different integration experience.
